Dr. Blaine Crevar is a chiropractic neurologist seeing patients out of his North Charleston office, Crevar Chiropractic. He prides himself in his modern and forward-thinking techniques in treating his patients, focusing on what is called functional neurology and functional medicine.

Dr. Crevar graduated cum laude in 1997 from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award for his outpatient clinical work as a senior intern assisting fellow students with their patients. He spent approximately three years working for Professional Licensing Consultants. He also performed research and taught nationally to help chiropractic students perform better and gain licensure.

Dr. Crevar is constantly continuing his education in his fields of functional neurology and functional medicine. In addition, Dr. Crevar is also an extremity practitioner and has completed his fellowship level curriculum in vestibular rehabilitation.

During his undergraduate studies as a biology major, Dr. Crevar was introduced to chiropractic care as a freshman. After suffering for years from chronic sinus and respiratory infections, the relief and drastic results he received as a patient spurred an interest and passion to learn more; and pursue a career helping others as a doctor of chiropractic.

While he understands that medical intervention is necessary during emergency situations, he is firm in his beliefs that the human body is genetically designed to be healthy. Health can therefore be restored through natural means and lifestyle corrections.

Dr. Crevar has practiced in Charleston, South Carolina area since 1998 and established Crevar Chiropractic in 2002. Originally from upstate New York, he is the proud father of three beautiful daughters (all have been adjusted and treated since birth). He enjoys staying active by working with a personal trainer, running, swimming, kayaking, golfing, mountain biking, alpine skiing and skateboarding.
